As President, Brett is responsible for all areas of the day-to-day corporate operations of Bento Box and its subsidiaries.  He oversees all facets of operations including strategic planning, finance, human resources, technology, infrastructure and corporate business development. 

 

Prior to starting-up Bento in 2009, Brett played pivotal roles in a number of prominent animation and entertainment companies.  He served as the EVP of Operations for Starz Entertainment, overseeing the operations of Film Roman and Starz Productions, the animation studio credited with such hits as “The Simpsons” and “King of the Hill".  He also served as Executive Vice President of Rehab Entertainment, an entertainment consulting company.  Clients included The Jim Henson Company, Cannon Pictures, Orion Pictures, Grove Television, Reeves Entertainment, Avenue Entertainment, Regent Films and Awesome Comics.

JOEL KUWAHARA

Co-Founder, President of Production

With over 25 years of animation experience and two Emmy® Awards, Joel oversees Bento Box’s production and is an Executive Producer or Supervising Producer on Bento Box projects.  He was principally involved in the development and implementation of Bento Box Entertainment’s industry-leading all-digital production pipeline; the only such system used in primetime animation, which has transformed the production process worldwide. 

 

Prior to co-founding Bento Box, Joel was a production executive at Film Roman, where he was Emmy®-nominated as a producer on “The Simpsons” and produced “The Simpsons Movie”.  Prior to Film Roman, Joel was a producer at Warner Brothers Animation, Sony Animation and Vice President of Production of Icebox.com. Over his career, Joel has designed and built three animation studios from the ground up: Sony Animation, Icebox Animation and Bento Box Entertainment.

As Head of Production, Dana oversees production for Development, Special Projects - the team tasked with crafting multiple pilots and presentations in development, and all productions at Bento Box. Dana brings thirty years of experience in the business of animation production and studio management.  Prior to Bento, she played pivotal roles at Film Roman, Activision, Fox Family, Saban Entertainment, Marvel, and served as President/CEO of Studio NM8. The passion and innovation she brings to each project is truly an inspirational backbone of Bento Box Entertainment. 

DANA CAMERON

Ben Jones is a director and an artist. He is the creator of television shows "Neon Knome" (Adult Swim), "Problem Solverz" (Cartoon Network), and "Stone Quackers" (FOX, FXX). Ben has exhibited his animated video art internationally at MOMA, Tate Britain, Museo d'Arte Contemporanea di Roma and in solo shows at MOCA, and The Modern of Fort Worth.

 

Continuing his visual direction and collaborations on videos and art with musicians including Beck, and MIA, Ben has directed a music video, co-creative directed a tour and designed a body-painting photo essay for Miley Cyrus. Commercial clients and collaborations include, Nike, Adidas, Target, Mercedes and Toyota.

 

Prior to joining the Bento Box team, Ben was the creative director, writer and a showrunner at FoxADHD.

Caitlin Winiarski currently serves as the Director of Development focused on Creative Development at Bento Box Entertainment. Prior to Bento Box, Caitlin worked as the Creative Executive in Television at Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's Gary Sanchez Productions, where she focused on developing projects from up-and-coming and diverse comedic voices. Caitlin is also a student of improv comedy and regularly performs with her all-female team at various theaters in the Los Angeles area. She began her career in entertainment at WME and is a graduate of Wesleyan University.

Andi is Supervising Producer on a number of Bento Box series, including "Paradise PD" (Netflix), "Hoops" (Netflix) and "Duncanville" (FOX), and she also serves as Animation Producer for "Alien News Desk" (with Broadway Video for SyFy).  Her past credits include Animation Producer for "The Legends of Chamberlain Heights" (Comedy Central), "Bordertown" (FOX), "Brickleberry" (Comedy Central) and "Allen Gregory" (FOX). 

 

Prior to Bento Box, Andi was a producer at Film Roman and Warner Brothers Animation.

Janelle Momary is an Emmy Award-Winning Supervising Producer for the hit show, "Bob’s Burgers" on FOX, where she not only supervises the show's production, but also oversees the creation of multiple brand extensions such as the production of the "Bob’s Burgers Live" tour (sold out in over 12 cities), "Bob’s Burgers" comic book series, the New York Times best seller "The Bob’s Burgers Burger Book", "The Bob’s Burgers Music Album", and many other successful projects in line with the show's brand.

Prior to joining the Bento Box team, Janelle was a producer at Disney Television Animation, where she worked on a variety of animated series, including Disney XD’s first original programming and Emmy Nominated "Kick Buttowski".

JANELLE MOMARY

Craig was instrumental in launching Bento Box Animation Studio Atlanta in 2012. He is currently responsible for all day-to-day operations of the studio as well as, supervision of all Atlanta employees and productions. 

 

In Atlanta, Craig has produced over 110 episodes of content, a variety of pilots and presentations, and a feature length direct to DVD movie. Craig is also an experienced animator, director and producer.  His credits include “Aqua Team”, "Out There”, “The Awesomes”, "The Brak Show", "Sealab 2021", "Perfect Hair Forever", "12 oz. Mouse", "Freakshow", "Archer”, and "Squidbillies".

Brooke Keesling is the Head of Animation Talent Development at Bento Box Entertainment. A native of Los Angeles, Brooke has worked in the Animation and VFX industries for decades as an artist, in production, education, and in talent development. Over the years Brooke has recruited animation talent for Cartoon Network, Disney Television Animation, and Warner Bros. among others.


Brooke earned her MFA in Animation at CalArts where she produced several films including the student Academy Award winning animated short, Boobie Girl. Upon graduation from CalArts, she worked in practical and miniature visual effects on films such as Inception, Hugo, The Dark Knight, and The Aviator. Passionate about education and outreach, Keesling is also an instructor in the Character Animation department at CalArts, the Vice President of ASIFA-Hollywood, an active member of Women in Animation, and she serves on the Advisory Board of the GLAS Animation Festival.
